I offer a free, 20-minute introductory phone session for all new clients. Participating in an introductory session does not obligate you to continue therapy.

My standard fees are $225.00 per 50-minute individual session and $250 per 50-minute couple and family session. Payment is required at the time of the session via cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover).

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact me by telephone at least 24 hours in advance of your existing appointment. The full fee is charged for appointments missed or cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.

I do not bill insurance for sessions in which I am out of network. I can provide a statement receipt if you would like to submit to your insurance provider or health savings account (HSA) for reimbursement.

good faith estimate

The No Surprises Act went into effect January 1, 2022. The law requires that all healthcare providers (including psychotherapists) provide a ‘Good Faith Estimate’ to their clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance for the expected charges for medical and mental health services.

Under the law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services including psychotherapy services before your scheduled service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
